Training

Hoist-Co is committed to providing the best service available to our customers.  Our technicians and installers receive highly specialized training on rack and pinion elevators, along with industry specific safety training.  We strongly believe on-going training is the key to providing our customers quality service in a safe manner. 

Our service technicians are trained to provide maintenance and repairs on all brands of rack and pinion elevators.  We provide extensive training both in the classroom and hands-on in the field.

Our safety training includes OSHA 10 hour, MSHA, PowerSafe Generation, and company specific standards. 

Mr. Rod Cody of National CRS conducts our MSHA training.  The 20 hour course for new employees and the 8 hour annual refresher cover important safety topics including PPE, first aid, and industry mandated safety procedures.  All field employees complete the OSHA 10 hour course.   Hoist-Co conducts quarterly safety and equipment training.  We are a member of NAEC and have certified elevator technicians on staff.

In addition, we offer to our customers, elevator training specific to their equipment.
